Scale model of Natural History Museum and dinosaur bones.

ORBIT GUM CASE STUDY:
It began
with a question:

"We need the spot to have more 'Ooomph'. What can you do for us?" The client originally approached us with the idea of simulating a car crashing through a block wall, but we saw an opportunity to create something with a bigger impact (see what we did there?). So we said "How about a car crashing through a museum?". The idea was an immediate hit and we were awarded the task of designing the entire world that the sequence would take place in, and, as well, with capturing the sequence on film.

Design

For the Orbit Gum commercial, we were responsible for almost 7 seconds of the 30 second television commercial. Knowing the speed that the live action vehicle would be traveling as it led into our sequence, we could determine the scale that we would want to work in.

Execution

It was more than just designing and building a unique world. With this project, that meant capturing four complete takes and resets of breakaway dinosaurs with a custom camera platform, all in one day.
